Planning for Property Success in NZ

Planning for Property Success is based on the premise that residential property investment is more like a business than an investment. To do well out of it you should develop a plan of exactly what you want to achieve.

As many investors have different backgrounds, financial situations, lifestyles, strengths and weaknesses, then their property plans need to be individualised.

The purpose of the book is to get readers to think about their current situation, what it is they want from property and help develop a plan that will map out how they are going to achieve their desires.

It does not promote a "best" way to invest in property; rather it helps you to develop the best way for you to invest in property. It does this by taking you through a systematic process of analysing yourself, including your financial and personal situation, how to develop meaningful goals, an explanation of different strategies plus when and who the different strategies are appropriate for, and how to pull this all together to determine what properties you are going to buy and how many properties you need to reach your goals.

The book has case studies to help explain certain points and stimulate ideas about how you can adapt strategies to fit your particular circumstances.

It is written in a practical, succinct and easy to follow format, which makes the information it contains easy for readers to follow and actually use.
